The 7440 style is a single output that can be used as a reverse bulb, turn signal bulb, brake light or marker light. Choose the correct color from the drop-down menu above for your application.
The 7440 M Series bulbs redefine both performance and compatibility standards in the automotive aftermarket. Like our headlight bulbs, we recognize optimizing the light source position is key to having a proper pattern from the housing. You will notice that we now use fewer but much higher power LED chipsets oriented as closely as possible to the original bulb filaments. We have also incorporated the newest CANBUS technology to achieve compatibility with greater than 99% of vehicles without causing a bulb out error. In turn signal applications, these new bulbs eliminate the need to add resistors to the circuit to solve fast blinking issues.
Also compatible with the following bulb styles: 992, 7440A, 7440AL, 7440LL, 7440ST, 7441
Please note that you can use a 7443 to replace a 7440, but you cannot use a 7440 to replace a 7443 in any application other than a reverse light.
